Maktab (also known as Mekteb) is an Islamic educational program designed to teach children the foundations of Islam in a structured, nurturing, and age‑appropriate environment. It focuses on building strong Islamic identity through learning the Qur’an, basic Islamic knowledge, good character (akhlaq), and love for Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ.
Maktab is often a child’s first formal step in Islamic education. It complements what is taught at home by providing guidance, consistency, and a sense of belonging within the wider Muslim community.

Mekteb Fees
The Mekteb fee is $200 per family, which is the same as the annual mosque membership. We strongly encourage families to opt for the annual membership, as it provides a wide range of additional benefits beyond Mekteb.
